April 29th, 2009Babies and such
July 20th, 2009I was watching TV the other day, and there was this episode of The Nanny on, where CC Babcock “hides” her pregnancy. Chech out at 2:50 and 4:25 (give or take a few seconds). It’s really funny.
BoA – Bad Drive
May 25th, 2009This is one of the best choregraphies I’ve ever seen. Kudos to whoever did it (Lisette Bustamante?)
BoA was born in South Korea in 1986, and her talent was discovered when she was only 11. Jugding by videos and a large number og web sites, she is actually able to sing and dance live, as she does in this video.
Morning Glory
May 15th, 2009My alarm clock woke me up this morning, and I went to work. As I was crossing the street outside were I live, a car came whithout headlights (which is illegal in Norway) and without stopping for me even though it was a marked pedestrian field (how rude!).
Anyway, I got across the street continued pass the buildings reaching the forrest marking that I’m half way to work. Then I remembered I had not eaten breakfast or done my usual morning bathroom routine. Looking down I also noticed i was still wearing my PJs with nothing but my rain coat over.
So I turned to go home, only to discover rush hour had begun, so I had to wait to cross the street in front of my house. As I was standing there a little white car zoomed past me and drove straight into the one way drive side street. Which happened to be pack cars in both lanes. Obviously it didn’t get far.
When I finally got home, I poured my serials into the bowl. I noticed there was something odd, since my usual serials were mixed in with some smaller thingies that looked like cat food.
And then my alarm clock rang…
Livin’ large
July 2nd, 2008
I’ve finally done it. I’ve bought my own place. Not a minute too soon if you ask me. I know rent is up and stuff, but I got a good price. Also, my landlord is planning on increasing his income by renting out more rooms. He want’s to start up his own little Christian community, him and three others. I really don’t want to share kitchen and bathroom with two more, so it’s a good time to move out.
It’s a nice place too. Close to down town, but with woods behind the building for my cats to run and have fun. The apartment is brand new, not so big, but the floor plans is pretty good, så I’ll have plenty of space for my stuff. It’ll be great.
All in a days work…
May 9th, 2008More presisely between 08.00 and 16.00. On a friday
The whole day was crazy busy, and the customer calls didn’t slow down until around 15.30. I can easily say this was the busiest day since I started working there in august. Back then, 100 calls on a friday were all the calls that day…
To Help, Or Not To Help…
August 27th, 2007I recently started a new job in a helpdesk. Still quite the novice, I got a call today that even I could handle:
Me: The HelpDesk.
Customer: I don’t need help…

One of my pupils made this drawing and told me to hang it up in the teacher’s room. So I did. It’s been hanging there for the better part of this school year. The lines are from the paper he used.
Somewhere over the rainbow
June 14th, 2007I took this picture outside my home a few days ago.
My First Composition
December 6th, 2006
I found the sheets to my first (and so far only) ever composition mixed in with my music notes the other day. I decided to find out what it sounded like. It was made only because I was forced by my school music teacher when I was somewhere between 5th and 7th grade, and the sound is long since forgotten (and for a good reason, as you’ll discover if you are brave enough to listen to it). As the organ is safely placed at my dad’s (and not at all getting wrecked by my rather destructive five-year-old brother…) I found a terrific program on the Internet called iABC which allowed me to just write the notes and it would make a MIDI-file and the sheet for me.
Now if you can get through the longest 32 seconds of your life I’m sure you’ll be absolutely thrilled to find out that I have no plans what so ever to make any more compositions.
